The 8th InterOlympics online casino event was held on Monday 18-08-2008 and was another round of Rapid Fire Slots.
This means that online casino players could earn their leaderboard points and draw entries by playing any of the slot machines found in the Rapid Fire slots group at InterCasino.
During the first Rapid Fire event, i played the following slots
Once activated, players had to wager $300 to claim their 300 leaderboard points and an entry for the 3 x iPod Nanos.
The iPod Nanos were valued at $200 each.
The InterOlympics event wager requirement and prize amount has been increased by 50% during the last week of the InterOlympics events.
The wager requirement is still so low that most regular gamblers won't even notice it because the average wagering of a slots session is much more.
From my point of view, this means that there is one more chance to win a prize every day for the same "work" on the slot machines.
      | My goal with the BMX InterOlympics event was much the same as it was with the first Rapid Fire slot machine event. First i wanted to reach my wager playing safe on the 25 payline rapid fire slot machine "Rajah's Rubies". The Rapid Fire slot machine group offer many different bonus feaures and slot machine themes, but they are all ( besides Rajahs Rubies ) 9 payline slots. Playing 9 line slots is often very different from slots with more paylines because winning is less frequent and wagers tend to be much higher per payline. This means larger prizes but less often. This type of slot machine play has it's own charm, - especially when you land a good win, but i prefer the multi-line slots with 20+ paylines that offer more frequent wins but with smaller amounts. I did really well with the Rajahs Rubies slot machine and left the slots with a nice $50.00 profit after reaching the $300 wager requirement. I was still a little "busted" from the long Native Treasure session i had during the Soccer InterOlympics event and decided to head over to the Salsa slots for a bonus feature or two before i called it a day. The Salsa slots was much more generous that last time i played it and i was able to trigger the first bonus feature quite fast. I played the slots for less than an hour before i quit with a $150 profit from the BMX InterOlympics event. |
The BMX InterOlympics event was the first where i wagered less than 5 times the required amount.
This means that i only managed to "earn" a few entries for the daily draw, but i was quit with a profit equal to the prize value making it a win anyway;)
